Solid State Meter (SSM)
The Mueller solid state meter (SSM) is available in 5/8” X 3/4” through 2” sizes. The SSM meter provides 8 digits of granular data for visual reads and 8 digits in encoded electronic format for use in Mueller Mi.Net AMR / AMI applications. The meter can be used in any residential or commercial application where a high degree of accuracy at low flow rates is essential. SSM meters used in AMI applications work seamlessly on the Sentryx platform.
Positive Displacement (PD) Meter
The best designed measuring chamber in the industry allows Mueller’s positive displacement meters to outperform all others. Rugged NSF-61 compliant bronze cases in 5/8″ through 2″ sizes give you years of unwavering, unsurpassed service. Additionally, Mueller offers nylon-coated ductile iron meters in sizes 1.5″ and 2″. Mueller’s positive displacement meters offer reading options, including the ME-8 mechanical encoder, the SSR fully electronic encoder, and the traditional direct-read version. PD meters used in AMI applications work seamlessly on the Sentryx platform.
Residential Fire Meter (RFM)
The Mueller Residential Fire Meter (RFM) is specifically designed for use in residential fire protection systems or combination systems that supply domestic plumbing needs and residential sprinkler fire protection service when installed as specified in NFPA 13D or NFPA 13R; (Standards for the installation of sprinkler systems in one and two-family dwellings, manufactured homes, and residential occupancies up to and including four stories in height). The RFM utilizes a unique vertical turbine measuring element to measure flow rates comparable to traditional positive displacement meters while also providing a measuring element that allows suspended particulate matter to pass through the element unobstructed when emergency flow requirements for water are demanded. RFM meters used in AMI applications work seamlessly on the Sentryx platform.
